Abstract:
To prevent gas generated from an inflator from being leaked from an insertion port provided in an air bag-attaching base part.
This air bag device is provided with an air bag 1 of which an inflator 3 for generating gas for inflation-developing the air bag 1 is assembled in an inside from an insertion port 1c provided in an attaching base part 1b for the air bag 1. A backing cloth 2 of which one side edge is formed into an open port 2a, and of which the other three edges 2b, 2c, and the like are fixed to an outer side face of the base part 1b to cover the insertion port 1c of the inflator 3 is provided in an outside of the air bag 1.
