This air bag 22 is so constituted that a fitting part 52 in the circumference of the gas introduction port 51 is clamped between a mount part of a retainer and a fitting plate part of a mid retainer so as to be held to an air bag device. The fitting part 52 is so formed that inside reinforcing fabrics 64 and 65 are stacked on both faces of a ground fabric 61 constituting a bag body to be sewn together with a yarn, and a reinforcing fabric 68 is stacked on the surface side to be sewn with a sewing yarn 73. The sewing yarn 73 is disposed only in both end parts of the rectangular gas introduction port and a part along the longitudinal direction is set to an unsewn part 75. The surface of the reinforcing fabric 68 becomes flat to improve the airtightness.
