Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the air bag for emergency drop escape of which the original shape can be speedily recovered.
CONSTITUTION: Concerning an air bag 1 for emergency drop escape provided with a gas bag to inject gas and to consist of a prescribed shape when gas is injected ceiling film 21 and side surface films 22 and 23 which cover the gas bag erected in the prescribed shape and form the air chamber, and plural air holes for ventilating air to the air chamber composed of the films 2, this air bag is provided with a stop valve 32 so as not to pass air from the air chamber to one part of air holes but to let air flow from the direction of external air on the other hand. Thus, since the stop valve is provided at one part of air holes, the air hole to which the stop valve is fitted does not let air in the air bag flow outside when any impulse is loaded by drop. On the other hand, since air can be let flow in when the gas bag rises and recovers the original shape, the original shape can be speedily recovered.
