Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag capable of protecting an occupant against an impact of the air bag at initial unfolding.SOLUTION: In a structurally simple air bag, one panel is folded back, or a plurality of panels are combined together and outer edges are joined together. An outer peripheral end is folded in to form a variable exhaust hole. A shape regulation cord is attached within the bag. An open state of the variable exhaust hole coupled to the shape regulation cord is changed according to an occupant's seating position.
