Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a good air bag at low cost which can prevent fraying of the synthetic fiber filaments of its cut part without coating fabric with synthetic rubber and which can also prevent lowering of the strength of its sewed part.
CONSTITUTION: Before fabric 1 woven with wefts and warps is cut into a predetermined form, the weft and warp of welding portion areas 8, 9, 10, 11 including a cutting line are welded together in advance. The fabric 1 is cut along the welded portion and is joined to other cut pieces to form an air bag.
