Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an air bag excellent in energy absorbing performance by regulating excessive expansion of the air bag made of an elastomer film.
CONSTITUTION: Resin films 3A-3F are affixed to cover a part of an elastomer film 2 on an air bag made of the elastomer film 2. Consequently, the resin films 3A-3F low in elongation regulate expansion of the elastomer film 2. Energy is absorbed by expansion of the elastomer film 2 at a part where the resin film is not affixed.
