To provide an air cleaner-cum-bedding dryer being used as an air cleaner or a bedding dryer in a single machine by using main components in common.

This air cleaner-cum-bedding dryer is provided with a ventilation flue having an outlet in one end, a blower 24 sending air to the ventilation flue, a heater 25 provided in the ventilation flue and heating the air sent from the blower 24, a switching mechanism 29 turning on/off the heater, and a body case 20 storing the aforementioned devices and having an inlet with a filter 40 in a side wall. This air cleaner-cum-bedding dryer is so formed that, when drying bedding, the heater 25 is turned on by the switching mechanism 29, heats the air from the blower 24, and sends the hot air from the outlet of the ventilation flue to dry the bedding and, when cleaning the air, the heater 25 is turned off, filters the air from the blower by the filter 40, and sends the clean air from the outlet of the ventilation flue to clean the air.
