Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance by surrounding the side part and rear part of an air cleaner by a fuel tank while leaving the upper part open, and prevent an air cleaner case from interfering with other parts by providing an intake duct integrally with the bottom part of the air cleaner case.
CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner 11 is surrounded at the side part and the rear part by a fuel tank of U-shape from the top view, and element change can be performed from above. The inside of the air cleaner 11 is partitioned into a dirty side chamber 31 and a clean side chamber 32 by a partition wall 30 provided at a joint part between an upper air cleaner 25 and a lower air cleaner 26. An intake duct 27 is provided integrally with the bottom part in the lower air cleaner 26, and its inlet 44 is opened to the bottom part of the lower air cleaner case 26, whereas its outlet 45 is opened to the dirty side chamber 31. The intake duct 24 is not thereby extended downward of the lower air cleaner case 26 so as to be prevented from interfering with other parts.
