Abstract:
To suppress multiplication of germs in a dust collection filter.
This air cleaner blowing air, which is sucked into a main body case 1 via the dust collection filter 13, to the outside of the main body case 1, is provided with an ultraviolet lamp 14 serving as a light emitting body radiating ultraviolet rays to the dust collection filter 13, and the dust collection filter 13 is formed of a material hardly affected by the ultraviolet rays. When the dust collection filter is irradiated with the ultraviolet rays from the light emitting body, multiplication of germs in the dust collection filter can be suppressed, and the dust collection filter is hardly affected by the ultraviolet rays, and can be used over a long time.
