To provide an air cleaner having a good maintainability, which enables an easy cleaning with a main filter mounted on a body, and maintains an air cleaning function without decreasing the efficiency.
The main filter 6 and a blowing device 7 are provided on a ventilation flue 4 in the body 3, the main filter 6 being formed in a lattice shape. A movable cleaning means 14 is provided upstream of the main filter 6, which is formed by a brush 13 to enable a scraping of dust by inserting the cleaning means 14 into a lattice 12 of the main filter 6. A dust receiving part 15 close to the brush 13 is provided movably substantially integrally to the brush 13. The dust adhering to the main filter 6 as it remains the mounted on the body 3 is cleaned by the cleaning means 14. Thus, an efficient air cleaning is possible, and the air cleaner having the good maintainability can be obtained.
