Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that the conventional electric dust collector which is composed of a charging part and an electric dust collecting part has a deterioration tendency of dust collection efficiency mainly due to turbulence between flux of air on an inner part and an electrode, sometimes, a measure for fire, electric shock or noise due to discharging of the inner part is insufficient, although a charged particle is adsorbed to an electrode plate according to Coulomb force, or repulsive force or attractive force of an electric field on the most electrode surface, actually, flux produced by air and turbulence of the air is dominant as compared to such forces, therefore, it is necessary to increase an electrode area more than necessary in order to compensate the deterioration of the efficiency due to the turbulence of the flux on the electrode surface and, therefore, there is such a tendency as to get to relatively larger size.SOLUTION: A flux passage mechanism is adopted. Thereby, the occurrence of turbulence between flux of air and an electrode is suppressed to the utmost, a flat plate structure which abruptly changes flux is reduced to the utmost. Constitutions of a charging part and a dust-collecting part of an electric dust collector principally consisting of the flux passage mechanism which does not oppose the flux are adopted. As the result, the charging and dust collection are efficiently executed with a small-size constitution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 31
