Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning system that generates heat by energization, has a positive resistance-temperature characteristic, can set the Curie point temperature at any temperature, and can heat-efficiently clean the air in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The air cleaning system comprises: a heating-element housing-device 300 in which a porous-resistance molded-body 100 having a porosity within a range of 5% to 50% and having a positive resistance-temperature characteristic, obtained by mixing aluminum powder, graphite powder, gairome clay powder, and wood flour into a sintering raw-material mixture, adding, to the whole sintering raw-material mixture, water and/or binder that does not cause movement due to the difference in density, kneading the same, subjecting to molding by applying pressure, and subjecting to sintering the same, and a platinum group catalyst 19 dissolved with inorganic solvent and/or organic solvent are integrated together by melt-spraying metal onto both sides of the porous-resistance molded-body 100 to make it into electrode and have it support the platinum group catalyst, and housed in a housing 310; and a heat exchanger 400 in which a high-temperature cleaned-air is introduced from the housing 310 of the heating-element housing-device 300, and during the period until the cleaned-air is discharged, heat-energy is supplied to the to-be-clean treated air supplied to the housing 310 of the heating-element housing-device 300.
