Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a cooling effect of an air tank of an air compressor.SOLUTION: An air compressor 1 includes: a compressed air generation section 20 using a motor 21 as a power source; a first air tank 10a and a second air tank 10b provided below the compressed air generation section 20; and a cooling fan 30 provided on the lateral side of the compressed air generation section 20. The first air tank 10a and the second air tank 10b are disposed below a rotating shaft 25 so that extending direction of center axes of the tanks intersect with the axial direction of the rotating shaft 25 of the motor 21. The cooling fan 30 is mounted to one end of the rotating shaft 25. The first air tank 10a is located nearer the cooling fan 30 in the axial direction, compared to the second air tank 10b, and the shortest vertical distance L1 from the rotating shaft 25 to the first air tank 10a is made longer than the shortest vertical distance L2 from the rotating shaft 25 to the second air tank 10b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
