Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a small-sized air compressor.SOLUTION: This invention comprises: a tank segment 10B for use in storing compressed air; a compressed air generating compressor 10A installed at an upper part of the tank segment; and an air-taking segment 10C for taking out compressed air from the tank segment. Since the air-taking segment is arranged near the central part of the tank segment and installed near the center of the compressor main body and the air take-out port is installed in a space where the tanks are oppositely faced against to each other and the air-taking segment is arranged near the center of the compressor main body, the air take-out port becomes to be positioned at the center of the compressor main body and located in a space where a pair of tanks are oppositely faced to each other. With this arrangement as above, an air hose is not substantially projected out of the main body. Further, it becomes possible to attach or detach an air hose for a tool without being hindered by a handle. Due to this fact, it becomes possible to perform a smooth detaching operation. In addition to this arrangement, an arrangement relation to other component elements has been devised to enable a space around the compressor installed at the upper surface of the tank to be effectively utilized. This invention has a practical benefit to enable a size of the compressor main body to be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
