To provide an air conditioner improved in directivity of supplied air flow, and an air conditioning system using the same.
This air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger 3, an air blower 2, a suction opening 6 and a supply opening 7, and further comprises an air flow diffusion reducing device 10 for reducing the diffusion of air flow supplied from the supply opening 7. According to this air conditioner, the diffusion of supplied air flow is prevented and the directivity can be improved. Further energy can be saved by preventing the air-conditioning in an unnecessary space. Further as it is not necessary to increase a supply speed to secure a longitudinal coverage, the distribution of indoor temperature can be improved with a silent operation. Further by using the air conditioner constituted as the above, a ductless system for supplying the conditioned air to a circulation device can be constructed.
