Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner for vehicle capable of suppressing the effect of an abnormality of a physical quantity detection unit when air conditioning the interior of a vehicle and cooling an object to be cooled.SOLUTION: An air conditioner for vehicle 1 includes: a refrigeration cycle device 10; a physical quantity detection unit; an abnormality determination unit 50a; and a prohibition control unit 50b. The refrigeration cycle apparatus 10 includes: a compressor 11; an air conditioning evaporator 16; and a right side battery evaporator 19a and a left side battery evaporator 19b as cooling evaporators. The physical quantity detection unit includes: an air conditioner temperature sensor 55; a right side cooling evaporator temperature sensor 56a; a left side cooling evaporator temperature sensor 56b; and a cooling evaporator pressure sensor 57. The abnormality determination unit 50a determines whether a detection value of the physical quantity detection unit deviates from an expected numerical range during an air conditioning cooling cycle. When it is determined that the detected value of the physical quantity detection unit is an abnormal value, the prohibition control unit 50b prohibits the circulation of a refrigerant through the air conditioning evaporator 16 and the circulation of the refrigerant through the cooling evaporator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
