Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and man-hours for assembly by forming a cross-member for connecting front pillars in a box cross-section type closed structure, and also providing inlet and blowing ports of air conditioning air.
CONSTITUTION: A cross-member 11 for connecting front pillars is formed in a box cross-section type closed structure, and air conditioning air inlet ports 15 and 17 and air blowing ports 16 and 18 are provided. Also fresh air is introduced from an air inlet port 31 in a dashboard 30, blown by a blower 32, led into the air inlet ports 15 and 17 through an air mixing damper 33, heater core 34, and ventilator damper 35, and introduced into the cross-member 11. Then the air is blown out from the blowing ports 16 and 18 to the inside of a cabin.
