To solve a problem of shortage of heating capacity which occurs as a working fluid within a heating circuit is released to a cooling circuit, and another problem of a worsened energy efficiency which does as the working fluid raised up to a high pressure during working made by a compressor is released uselessly outside a heating circuit in an attempt to restrict an abnormally high pressure state during the operation of an air conditioner.
There are arranged a compressor 101, an air conditioning circuit and two capacity altering means and the compressor 101 has an intake part 115, a delivery part 120 and a drive means 130. The two capacity altering means are arranged sequentially on the upstream side and on the downstream side of a path to a drive chamber 110 from the delivery part 120. In the cooling operation, one capacity altering means opens the path as an intake pressure comes down to a low pressure while the other capacity altering means always releases the path. In the heating operation, the one capacity altering means always opens the path while the other capacity altering means releases the path as a delivery pressure goes up to a high temperature.
