To provide an air conditioner that suitably conditions the air in a room.
This air conditioner includes an engine 3, a radiator 5 for the engine, a motor 7, a PCU 9, a radiator 11 for an electric equipment system, a chemical heat pump 13, a first air-conditioning heat exchanger 15, a thermoelectric conversion module 17, a one-surface side heat exchanger 19, the other-surface side heat exchanger 21, and a second air-conditioning heat exchanger 23. Piping 53 is connected to an evaporation chamber 44 in the chemical heat pump 13, and the evaporation chamber 44 and a first air-conditioning flow passage 14 are thermally connected. The thermoelectric conversion module 17 and a second air-conditioning flow passage 16 are also thermally connected via the other surface side heat exchanger 21. In this air conditioner, the first air-conditioning heat exchanger 15 performs first air-conditioning based on cold heat in the evaporation chamber 44, and the second air-conditioning heat exchanger 23 performs second air-conditioning based on absorption heat by the thermoelectric conversion module 17. Mixed air-conditioning is also performed by the first air-conditioning heat exchanger 15 and the second air-conditioning heat exchanger 23.
