Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of cooling/heating performance at start of operation in an air conditioner having a heat exchanger for radiation.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 includes a heat pump cycle having a compressor 52, an indoor heat exchanger 12 (indoor side heat exchanger), an expansion valve 55 and an outdoor heat exchanger 54 (outdoor side heat exchanger). The heat pump cycle further includes a radiation type heat exchanger 71 as a second indoor side heat exchanger. The radiation type heat exchanger 71 is disposed between the compressor 52 and the indoor heat exchanger 12. The heat pump cycle further includes a bypass route 59 in which a refrigerant flows while bypassing the radiation type heat exchanger 71; and a bypass valve 33 disposed in the bypass route 59. At start of operation of the air conditioner 1, the bypass valve 33 is opened and the refrigerant flows mainly in the bypass route 59.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
