Abstract:
To reduce costs of earth fault detection means in an air conditioner comprising a primary side common mode choke coil.SOLUTION: An earth fault detection unit 20 comprises: a Hall element 21 configured to detect magnetic flux occurring in a core 4a of a common mode choke coil 4; an amplification unit 22 configured to amplify a detection signal detected by the Hall element 21; a comparator 24 into which a magnetic flux signal output by the amplification unit 22 is input; and a reference power source 23 configured to output to the comparator 24 reference voltage corresponding to a predetermined earth fault threshold. When the intensity of the magnetic flux detected by the Hall element 21 is equal to or more than the earth fault threshold, the comparator 24 outputs to a control unit 10 an earth fault detection signal indicating occurrence of earth fault.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
