Abstract:
To judge a state of opened or closed state of a shut-off valve in short time when an air-cooling operation is started.SOLUTION: An air conditioner of this invention includes a gas pipe temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of a gas pipe between a gas side closing valve of an outdoor unit and an indoor heat exchanger of an indoor unit. The air conditioner of this invention has a control device for outputting an instruction for starting a cooling inspection operation under "no initial operation" and outputting an instruction to start the cooling inspection operation under "initial operation". In regard to a gas pipe temperature detected by the gas pipe temperature sensor, it is judged by a cooling inspection operation that a gas side closing valve is closed when the gas pipe temperature difference (ΔTg) between the present state and just after starting operation is less than a predetermined value if a first predetermined time (t1) elapses, and it is judged that the gas side closing valve is opened when a gas pipe temperature difference (ΔTg) becomes more than a predetermined value before a first predetermined time (t1) elapses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
