Abstract:
To solve the problem in which short circuit occurs where the air blown out from a blowout port 107 flows directly into a suction port 106 and this causes deterioration in performance such as air turbulence, increase in input power and increase in noise and also it generates dew condensation water during a cooling operation, in an air conditioner which includes a casing 101, the blowout port 107 provided at a front surface 105, the suction port 106 provided below the blowout port 107, a cross flow fan 108 having a rotary shaft substantially horizontal to the inside of the casing 101, a rear guider 110 provided above the cross flow fan 108, a stabilizer 109 having a tongue part 109a close to the cross flow fan 108, and a wind direction plate 113 for controlling the flow of the air blowing out from the blowout port 107.SOLUTION: By providing straightening plates 114 in the neighborhood of left and right ends on the upper surface of a wind direction plate 113, the short circuit is prevented from occurring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
