Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner that can be operated even during stop of idling.SOLUTION: An air conditioner includes: a cooling unit 10 constituted by a heat pump including a compressor 11, a condenser 12, an expansion valve 14 and an evaporator 15 and cooling vehicle interior air through heat exchange with the evaporator 15; a heating unit 20 including heaters 22 and a radiator 21 and warming vehicle interior air through heat exchange with the radiator 21 heated by the heaters 22; and a rechargeable battery supplying electric power to the cooling unit 10 and the heating unit 20. During stop of idling of a vehicle, the cooling unit 10 and the heating unit 20 can be operated. The heater 22 has a rod-like shape, and the radiator 21 comprises a plurality of heat transfer fins 21a and a plurality of heat transfer pipes 21b penetrating through the heat transfer fins 21a. The heaters 22 are inserted into the heat transfer pipes 21b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
