Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner which enables reduction of discomfort when a user removes a filter.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 1 in the disclosure includes an indoor unit 10. The indoor unit 10 includes: a housing 11; a decorative panel 11c which covers a part of the housing 11; and a filter 16 provided at the inner side of the housing 11. The filter 16 may be removed by opening the decorative panel 11c. The air conditioner includes: a lock device LD which locks the housing 11 and the decorative panel 11c; and a control unit 50 which controls the lock device LD. The control unit 50 conducts a filter cleanup operation PW including at least one of a sterilization step PW2 of the filter 16 and a cleaning step PW1 of the filter before the lock device LD is unlocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
