Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an air conditioner that facilitates positioning of a motor-securing unit or a bearing-securing stand and enables improved centering accuracy, that minimizes position deviation of the motor-securing unit or the bearing-securing stand, and that allows for a reduction in vibration and noise. The air conditioner is partitioned internally by a partition plate part into a heat exchanging chamber that accommodates a heat exchanger and a blower chamber that accommodates a blower fan, the blower chamber being provided with a fan motor for driving the blower fan and a bearing unit for bearing a rotary shaft of the fan motor, and the fan motor being secured to a top surface side plate and the partition plate part by the motor-securing unit; wherein the air conditioner is characterized in that the top surface side plate has a cut-and-raised-up part for the motor-securing unit formed toward the fan motor, the cut-and-raised-up part for the motor-securing unit preventing the motor-securing unit from moving toward the partition plate part by making contact with the side surface of the partition plate part for the motor-securing unit.
