Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a defrosting operation at timing at which it is determined that the temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger does not reach a cancellation value even if the defrosting operation continues until timeout, thereby eliminating the subsequent unnecessary defrosting operation.SOLUTION: As determination factors for canceling a defrosting operation, a first cancellation temperature Th1 and a second cancellation temperature Th2 (where Th20°C), defrosting operation timeout time TU, a threshold Tx for a temperature difference Tα(=TcR-TcF) between a previously detected outdoor heat exchanger temperature TcF and a currently detected outdoor heat exchanger temperature TcR among outdoor heat exchanger temperatures Tc detected at predetermined time intervals are set. During the defrosting operation, temperature differences Tα are sequentially calculated, the defrosting operation is canceled at timing at which it is determined that second cancellation temperature Th2≤outdoor heat exchanger temperature Tc
