Abstract:
To prevent in an air conditioner including a plurality of outdoor units, liquid compression of a compressor of an outdoor unit whose initial control is previously completed, in start-up control processing with determination of the correctness of a switching state of a switching valve.SOLUTION: A control device 60 which an air conditioner 1 includes is so formed as to execute second start-up control processing with determination of the correctness of a switching state of four-way valves (16,36). In the second start-up control processing, it is determined whether the initial control of an outdoor unit is completed or not after determining the correctness of the switching state of the four-way valves (16,36). When the initial control of an EHP outdoor unit 30 is not completed even when a prescribed time passes after the initial control completion of a GHP outdoor unit 10 whose initial control is previously completed, the operation of both outdoor units (10,30) is stopped, and following this, the operation of both compressors (12,32) is also stopped. With this, it is possible to prevent liquid compression due to that the GHP compressor 12 of the GHP outdoor unit 10 whose initial control is previously completed continues to be operated at a minimum engine speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
