This air conditioning apparatus is constituted of a primary side cycle 1 having a compressor 7 and a secondary side cycle 3 in which a transportation of heat to a heat exchanger 29 is performed by a refrigerant operating in a 2-phase area and in a supercritical zone while a pump 17 for circulation is arranged. The pump 17 of the secondary side cycle 3 is arranged on the low temperature side of a heat transportation loop while an operation of the refrigerant on the inlet side of the pump 17 is performed at the optimum density of the refrigerant corresponding to the heating operation and the cooling operation by a control means.
