Title:
AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6277527
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make smaller the height and width of a heat exchanger and let the air which is pushed in pass perfectly through the heat exchanger in a room by forming an inlet for introducing the air in the room at the end plate of the heat exchanger and directly mounting on the inlet a blower which pushes in air.

CONSTITUTION: The indoor air drawn from a suction opening 20 is pushed into an air introduction passage 15 from an indoor air introduction inlet 14 by a blower 5 provided on the side of a heat exchanger 9, an the air, as it flows in the passage 15, is gradually branched in to the right angle direction from this direction of flow to pass among fins 11, and exchanges heat with the coolant flowing in a coolant pipe 10. the air, after heat exchanged, flows into an air exhaust passage 22 formed between a box body 16, the outer side of the heat exchanger, and guide support plates 19, and discharged from the outlet opening 21 of a ceiling panel 17. the air discharged upwards collides with the upper surface to be divided to the right and left horizontally, and the air flowing downwards is blocked by a drain pan 18 flows horizontally, and both air flows go to the inside of the room. Since there is no air which does not undergo heat-exchange and which leaks, no dew condensation develops in the discharge passage.
