Abstract:
To enhance comfort of a user.SOLUTION: An air conditioner 100 is operated in a mode selected from either of a cooling mode and a dehumidification mode. The air conditioner 100 comprises: a coolant circuit 102 where a coolant is circulated through a compressor 111, an outdoor heat exchanger 113, an expansion valve 115, and an indoor heat exchanger 121 in this order; an indoor blower 124 which blows air subjected to heat exchange through the indoor heat exchanger 121 into an indoor space to be an air conditioning object; and an estimation section 129b which estimates an attribute of a user staying in the indoor space. When a predetermined condition is met, an operation mode is switched from one of either the cooling mode or the dehumidification mode to the other. The predetermined condition is met in accordance with an estimation result of the estimation section 129b. The attribute includes at least one of the following characteristics of the user: a gender, an age, a sensory temperature; a limb temperature; and whether the user is sensitive to cold or heat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
