Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning method for an aircraft, which can further reduce a risk of infection with infectious diseases in the aircraft, and an air conditioning system used in the method.SOLUTION: An air conditioning method for an aircraft comprises: obtaining fresh air for ventilation by adjusting the pressure and temperature of fresh air, which is bled from an engine compressor 33 or the like and has a high temperature and a high pressure, to a predetermined pressure and a temperature, respectively; obtaining clean and recirculation air by using a part of air existing in a cabin 20 as recirculation air and by removing contaminants therefrom with use of a filter 41 or the like; preparing ventilation air by mixing the fresh air for ventilation and the clean and recirculation air; and supplying the ventilation air into the cabin. The fresh air for ventilation is irradiated with ultraviolet light emitted from ultraviolet light emitting diodes 45 to be subjected to ultraviolet sterilization. At this time, temperature of the ultraviolet light emitting diodes is controlled by fresh air bled from the outside of the aircraft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
