To provide an air conditioning system and an air conditioning method capable of positively eliminating a high temperature part (heat accumulation) called a hot spot generated in an upper part vicinity of a device installed in an air conditioned room while suppressing increase of costs in installation and operation.
The air conditioning system 100 is equipped with the air conditioner 10 carrying out air supply into the air conditioned room 11, an exhaust duct 22 provided in a ceiling part of the air conditioned room and carrying out exhaust from the air conditioned room 11, a plurality of temperature detecting means 2a, 2b, 2c installed in correspondence to each of a plurality of devices A, B, C, detecting ambient temperatures, and outputting temperature detection signals, a plurality of blowing means 1a, 1b, 1c taking in air from the air conditioned room 11 and sending the air to the exhaust duct 22, and a blowing control means for having a blowing means closest in a physical position to a corresponding temperature detecting means carry out each blowing operation determined on the basis of each temperature detection signal outputted by the plurality of temperature detecting means.
