PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and handy air conditioning system which is excellent in energy efficiency and stable in operation by approximating the operation capacity of an indoor machine and the capacity of an outdoor machine to each other.
SOLUTION: This air conditioning system is equipped with an outdoor machine 1, a plurality of indoor machines 2 connected to this outdoor machine 1 and larger in total capacity than the capacity of the outdoor machine 1, each remote controller 3 for operating each operation state of these plural indoor machines 2, and an operation control means 8 for controlling the operation state of the plural indoor machines 2, based on the operation results of these several remote controllers 3. The operation control means 8 possesses a computation means 8a for computing the total capacity of each indoor machine that the remote controller 3 requests the operation, an judgment means 8c for judging whether the total capacity of each indoor machine whose operation is requested is within the capacity of an outdoor machine or not, and a control command means 8e for controlling the operation state of each indoor machine whose operation is requested, by the operation result of each remote controller, when the total capacity of each indoor machine is within the capacity of the outdoor machine, based on this judgment results.
