Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning system capable of performing a humidifying and cooling operation under an effective utilization of water obtained by adsorption through adsorbent. SOLUTION: An air conditioning system is operated such that the surrounding atmosphere or air is contacted with the adsorbent in a heat exchanging type adsorption device 1 under a desorption cooling mode to decrease a temperature of the air while desorbing moisture from the adsorbent and then air in a room is cooled under utilization of the low temperature air (Fig. (a)). In addition, under a dehumidification mode, air from a room is contacted with the adsorption agent in the heat exchanging type adsorbing device 1, moisture is adsorbed into the adsorbing agent to cause a humidity of air to be decreased and the low humidity air is returned back into the room to perform a dehumidifying operation (Fig. (b)). Further, under a saturated adsorption mode, the surrounding outdoor air is contacted with the adsorbent contained in the heat exchanging type adsorbing device 1 to cause the moisture to be adsorbed into the adsorbent (Fig. (c)). Under a desorption and cooling mode, humidifying and cooling operations are carried out under an effective utilization of water adsorbed by the adsorbent under a dehumidifying mode and a saturation adsorption mode.
