Title:
AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57204739
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve the prevention of oxygen starvation and the saving of energy by providing an air conditioning system for controlling the introduction of air based on a difference between a preset value and the concentration of oxygen in the room of a building, a factory or the like with a solid electrolyte type oxygen gauge.

CONSTITUTION: A sampling piping 3 is connected to a duct 2 for exhausting polluted air in a room 1 to send a part of exhaust to a oxygen gauge 4. A piping 7 is connected to a feed air duct 6 with a solenoid valve 5 to sample and send a part of feed air to the oxygen gauge 4, while compares the concentrations of oxygen in feed and exhaust air and transmits an output produced to a comparator 8. The comparator 8, in which an allowable drop in the concentration in the room is predetermined produces an output according to a difference, if any, between the value and the output of the oxygen gauge to control the quantity of clean air to be introduced into the room through the feed air duct by opening or closing the solenoid valve 5 through a signal line 9 thereby maintaining the atmospheric environment almost constant.
