PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioning unit for vehicle which can supply sufficient air favorably mixed to any blow-off port, and can curtail the fitting space of the unit.
CONSTITUTION: The blow-off port 16 of a blower is opened in the floor direction of a vehicle panel 7 to partition off the car room side and the engine room side, and a passage 20 communicated to respective blow-off ports 25-27 is formed from the blow-off port 16 along the outer circumference of the blower 14. A heater core 13 is arranged so as to faced to the blower blow-off port 16 and obstruct a part of the passage section, and the blow-off port 26 of a defroster is formed on the upper part of the unit. A ventilation quantity to the heater core 13 and a bypass quantity bypassing the heater core 13 can be changed by means of an air-mix door 22, and a blow-off mode is changed by means of mode changing doors 28, 29 provided on the lower stream side of the heater core 13.
