To provide an air cooling type pellet manufacturing apparatus which prevents the deterioration of the cooling performance even under a situation where an environmental temperature is high while adopting a cooling system that blows blower air onto a melting resin, and to provide an air cooling type pellet manufacturing method.
The invention relates to an air cooling type pellet manufacturing apparatus including: a blower which generates blower air; a blower air transport pipeline where the one end side is connected with the blower; a mist supply part which is provided in the blower air transport pipeline; and a pellet cooling part which is connected with the other end side of the blower air transport pipeline and to which pellets, which have not been subject to the cooling treatment yet, are supplied.
