Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rolling and yawing of a hull of a ship by providing an opening degree adjustment type louver in an upper opening which communicates each upper part of compartments on the right and left with atmospheric air, providing an opening which communicates the compartments on the right and left with a longitudinal bulkhead, and providing an opening degree adjustment type louver in the opening.
SOLUTION: An air cushion room 2 is partitioned into compartments on the right and left 2a, 2b by a longitudinal bulkhead 1c along a central line of a hull of a ship, and opening degree adjustment type louvers 6a, 6b are provided in upper openings 13a, 13b which communicate each compartment 2a, 2b with atmospheric air to adjust an attitude of the hull 1 by exhausting air from the inside of these compartments 2a, 2b properly. Moreover, an opening 8 which communicates the compartments on the right and left 2a, 2b is provided in the longitudinal bulkhead 1c, and an opening degree adjustment type louver 9 is also provided in the opening 8. Consequently, it is possible to generate restoration force due to air pressure when the hull 1 tilts sideways and suppress rolling and yawing of the hull 1.
