To provide an air cleaning/ventilating device which is capable of performing air ventilation/cleaning under a single unit setup and precisely and rapidly improving the turbid state of indoor air by selectively using a ventilation or a circulation function or making the combined use of these functions.

This air cleaning/ventilating device is structured of a ventilation part 5, equipped with blowers 3, 4 for ventilation, which forms indoors an air current for replacing the indoor air with the outdoor air and a cleaning part 8, equipped with a blower 6 for circulation and a deodorizing filter 7, which takes in the indoor air and removes turbid components from the taken-in air to return the turbid component-free air to the indoor, these parts 5, 8 being set up in a single body enclosure 1. In addition, the blowers 3, 4 for ventilation and the blower 6 for circulation are operated under discrete control according to an output from an odor sensor 23 which detects the turbid state of the indoor air.
