Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bearing lubricating oil particles, dusts, etc., which are scattered in operation from flowing into the clean space of a hard disc. SOLUTION: An air discharge guiding member 4A is fitted to the inner circumference of an inner cylinder part 22 between upper and lower bearings 5A and 5B. The inner circumference of the air discharge guiding member 4A is placed very close to a fixed shaft 3 and, further, has spiral grooves. A horizontal hole 31 with pierces the fixed shaft 3 from left to right is formed in the middle part of the fixed shaft 3 and a vertical hole 32 which links the lower part of the fixed shaft 3 with the horizontal hole 31 is drilled. When a motor is in operation, the air is collected into the horizontal hole 31 of the fixed shaft 3 by the spiral grooves of the air discharge guiding member 4A and discharged outside through the vertical hole 32.
