To provide an air disinfector which can reduce the frequency of maintenance.
The air disinfector 1 is equipped with a housing 10 having an air intake 15 and a diffuser 12, a gas/liquid contact member 3 arranged in the housing 10, an electrolytic cell 4 generating electrolyte water, an electrolyte water supply means 5 and 7 to supply the electrolyte water to the gas/liquid contact member 3, a fan 22 making air in a room sucked from the intake 15 contact electrolyte water permeating the gas/liquid contact member 3 and discharging the air from the diffuser 12, a water receiving section 8a receiving the electrolyte water from the gas/liquid contact member 3, a circulation pump 5 supplying the electrolyte water received by the water receiving section 8a to the electrolytic cell 4, and weirs 80 provided in the water receiving section 8a so as to store insolubles contained in the electrolyte water within the water receiving section 8a at the time when the electrolyte water is supplied to the electrolytic cell 4 by the circulating pump 5.
