Abstract:
PURPOSE: To positively intake the traveling wind into an intake device by constituting the left and right main pipes in pair from each angular pipe having a longitudinally long section, opening an intake port for the inflow of the traveling wind on the front surface of the main pipe, and opening an air feeding port for the effiuence of the traveling wind to a space part, on the inside surface of the angular pipe.
CONSTITUTION: As for a motorcycle which is constituted so that the left and right main pipes 3 and 3 in pair are extended rearward from a head pipe 2, and a fuel tank 6 is installed over the main pipe 3, each main pipe 3 is constituted of an angular pipe having a longitudinally long section, and an air suction port 31 for the inflow of the traveling wind is formed on the front surface of the angular pipe. Further, on the inner wall 32 of the angular pipe, an air feeding port 33 for the effluence of the traveling wind to a space part S is opened. Accordingly, the traveling wind is allowed to flow into the main pipe 3 from the air suction port 31, and allowed to flow out before a caburetor 8 from the air feeding port 33, and the air feed quantity to a caburetor 8 arranged at the part where the flow of the traveling wind is suppressed can be secured sufficiently.
