Abstract:

To form an air filter into a curved shape while maintaining capacity of its filter medium.

An air filter 10 includes a filter medium pack 11 and a case member 31 that stores the filter medium pack 11 thereinside. The filter medium pack 11 is formed of a sheet-shaped filter medium folded into a pleat shape, and thereby is made to be curvable. The case member 31 includes a bottom face, and a case frame part disposed in a frame shape so as to surround the filter medium pack 11. The case frame part is bonded to an outer peripheral face of the filter medium pack 11 by virtue of a seal member 13 disposed in a gap between the filter medium pack 11 and the case frame part. An outside part 22 of the filter medium pack 11 is filled with the seal member 13 as well.
