Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow rate measuring device which decreases a reduction of a flow speed in a bypass flow passage instead of a simple structure and a disorder of an air flow in the bypass flow passage, and measures an air flow rate with high precision.
SOLUTION: An air flow rate measuring device 10 is fitted on an intake pipe, and a U-shaped bypass flow passage into which a part of an air flow passage of the intake pipe flows is formed of a bypass member 30. An outflow part 46 positioned on a downstream side of the bypass flow passage is coated from three sides of confronted faces 33a of both sidewalls 33 and a wall face 36a of a partition wall 36 positioned on an upstream side of an air flow passage for the outflow part 46. Further, the outflow part 46 is opened in an air flowing direction of flowing out of the bypass flow passage and in an air flowing direction of an air flow passage. As a part of an air flowing out of the bypass flow passage gradually flows out from the outflow part 46 to the air flow passage before flowing together with a main flow, it is possible to decrease a reduction of a flow speed in the bypass flow passage and a disorder of an air flow in the bypass flow passage.
