Title:
AIR-FUEL RATIO CONTROL DEVICE USING DECIMATION FILTER FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3957180
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate a shortage of resolution of an air-fuel ratio sensor by reducing the chemical noise in an output of an exhaust gas sensor.
SOLUTION: This air-fuel ratio control device is provided with the exhaust gas sensor for detecting concentration of the exhaust gas, an air-fuel ratio sensor provided in the upstream of a catalyst device to detect an air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas, a decimation filter connected to an output side of the exhaust gas sensor, and a decimation filter connected to an output side of the air-fuel ratio sensor. The control device decides the operation rate for operating the air-fuel ratio so that an output of the exhaust gas sensor converges to a target value by using values output from the first and the second decimation filters. The first and the second decimation filter respectively over-sample output of the exhaust gas sensor and the air-fuel ratio sensor, and smooth them with a low-pass filter to do re-sampling with a cycle for computing the operation rate.
