Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily and securely measure the air gap between the inner periphery of a stator core and the outer periphery of a rotor core by measuring the air gap from the difference between the result of the radial width measurement of the stator core before assembly and the outer peripheral position measurement of the stator core from the axis of the stator core after the assembly. CONSTITUTION:When the air gap L between the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 3 of a generator 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the stator core 6 is measured, the outer diameter C of the core 3 is measured by a plug gauge, etc., before the assembly of the generator 1. Further, the radial width A of the core 6 is calculated from an equation I consisting of the distance (x) from a measuring device 16 to the outer periphery of the core 6, the distance (y) from a measuring device 17 to the inner periphery of teeth 6a, and the distance between the measuring device 16 and 17. Then, the distance B from the center O to the outer periphery of the core 6 is calculated from an equation II consisting the distance Y between a measuring device 19 and the shaft center O and the distance (b) between the measuring device 19 and core 6 after the assembly of the electric motor 1, the inner diameter (d) of the core 6 is calculated from an equation III, and the air gap L is calculated from an equation IV.
