To provide an air nipper for cutting a gate which can cut the gate almost without imparting a thermal influence to a resin molding or the nipper itself and without lengthening a cutting time and which can obtain a clear cut surface having no torn trace.

The air nipper for cutting the gate comprises a blade 10 having a pair of cutting edges 12 for cutting the gate 31 of the resin molding molded by an injection molding machine, and a driver 1 having an air cylinder for driving the edges 12. The nipper further comprises a gate heater 20 for directly heating the gate 31 so as not to impart the thermal influence to the molding 30 to be mounted in a state that the heater 20 may not impart the thermal influence to the blade 10 or the driver 1.
