To provide an air pump maximum output control system that can perform variable control and maximum control over the output of a pump.
The air pump maximum output control system comprises means for respectively calculating an applied voltage to an electromagnet for driving a diaphragm type linear air pump with a magnetic moving element, an input current to the electromagnet, and the phase angles of both applied voltage and input current, a means for performing an operation, when receiving an input of the resistance and inductance of the electromagnet winding, to calculate an induced voltage, and a means for controlling a driving power source frequency so as to maximize the electric output that is available as the vector inner product of the induced voltage and an electromagnet current.
