PURPOSE: To reduce noise such as hissing of wind generated by a fan by enclosing each part such as a fan or a cyclone cylinder using an outer plate and bending an air flow path extending from a suction orifice formed on the outer plate to the air inflow orifice of the cyclone cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: An air in a chamber which is received from a suction orifice 70a by suction force of a fan 27, runs along the surface of an inner surface plate 73, turning at right angles, and further turns at right angles to enter an air inflow orifice in a dust collection filter device 28. Next, the air passes through the dust collection filter device 28 and makes its entry into the air intake orifice of a first cyclone cylinder 24 through the fan 27. The air flow path is bent as described above and at the same time, a muffling material is attached to an inner wall, so that a hissing sound of wind generated by the fan 27 is effectively reduced. In addition, the structure is of a dual design that outer plates 70, 71 and an inner surface plate 73 form a clearance through which an air flows. Thus effective attenuation of the noise is achieved.
